Employment Information

Salary: $36,500 annually

Benefits: Uniform allowance, two weeks vacation, employer contribution towards health insurance, professional liability insurance (AVMA PLIT) with license defense coverage, VIN membership, State VMS and City VMA memberships.

BluePearl Veterinary Partners NYC is a busy referral and emergency practice in New York City. We look forward to welcoming our 10th intern class in June 2015. Our Manhattan hospital is 20,000 square-feet, state-of-the-art in design and services, and operates 24-hours a day. Our Forest Hills, Queens and Boerum Hill/Park Slope, Brooklyn hospitals also offer comprehensive specialty and 24-hour emergency services.BluePearl Veterinary Partners is a group of premier 24-hour referral/emergency hospitals presently located in fourteen states: New York, Florida, Georgia, Virginia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Michigan, Illinois, Minnesota, Kansas, Missouri, Massachusetts, Texas and Washington. Interns rotate through Internal Medicine, Critical Care, Neurology, Surgery, and Emergency Medicine in typically four-week rotations in the Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens hospitals. Elective rotations are offered in Cardiology, Dermatology, Oncology, Ophthalmology, and Radiology. Special consideration will be given to requests for an elective of special interest at one of our sister hospitals, or for out-rotations in a service not represented in our New York hospitals.Our diagnostic and treatment capabilities are extensive.
