Internship - Sports Medicine And Rehabilitation
Equine Sports Medicine, Rehabilitation, and Diagnostic Internship at the World Equestrian Center
University of Florida Veterinary Medicine
The internship is a one-year program where the intern spends 46 weeks on clinical rotations, 2 weeks electively, 2 weeks on independent study, and 2 weeks on vacation. There is expectation for shared weekend and emergency duty. Supervision is provided by one faculty member dual-certified by the American College of Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation and American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine, two faculty members dual-certified by the American College of Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation and American College of Veterinary Surgeons, and one faculty member board-certified by the American College of Veterinary Radiology with sub-specialization in Equine Diagnostic Imaging.
