We offer a rotating focus within emergency, critical care, internal medicine, surgery, neurology, radiology, cardiology & oncology. The program is designed to provide a broad clinical experience establishing a strong foundation to enter private practice with confidence or to pursue specialty residency training. Interns will develop into confident diagnosticians & strengthen their verbal/written communication skills, leadership skills and confidence as a clinician. Interns will become proficient in emergency procedures, advanced diagnostics and in the management of a wide variety of diseases.

Colorado Animal Specialty and Emergency employs over 170 local support staff members including technicians, assistants, client liaisons, patient account liaisons and clinical administrators.Specialists/board eligible in Emergency and Critical Care (3/1) with specific interest in extracorporeal therapy, nephrology, urology, blood-banking/transfusion medicine, resuscitation and respiratory disease while providing comprehensive emergency and critical care. In order to offer comprehensive care we team with our senior emergency doctors (13 ER docs), specialty/board eligible Surgeons (3/1), Internal Medicine Specialists/board eligible (3/1), Comprehensive Medical/Surgical/Radiation Specialty Team (2/1/1), Radiology Specialists (2), Anesthesia/Pain Management Specialist (1), Neurology Specialist (1) and partnership with Cardiology offering 5 day per week coverage (1 FT/3PT), with new hires for 2024 to expand/develop our radiation oncology, anesthesia, and develop a dentistry team.
