Small Animal Medicine and Surgery Rotating Internship
University of Florida Veterinary Medicine
This program is designed to qualify the individual for entry into an approved residency program leading to board certification in a recognized veterinary specialty. For interns planning on applying for residencies, we make every effort to schedule you heavily in your subject of interest early in the year, facilitating experience in the discipline prior to residency applications. Interns have elective rotations which may be used for clinical experiences of interest to the intern not included in the core rotation schedule, additional rotations on core subjects that are relevant for residency applications, or for research or attendance at specialty conferences.
