Residency in Veterinary Dermatology (Combined Masters of Veterinary Sciences 4-year program)

University of Florida Veterinary Medicine

The Veterinary Medical Center (VMC) - University of Florida has appropriate facilities to support this program. The dermatology area includes exam rooms devoted to dermatology and a main treatment area equipped with eight computers, two microscopes, two videotoscopes, a CO2 laser, and a Cryopen. Dermatology residents will be exposed and interact with services spanning over 13 different specialties in small and large animals as well as zoo medicine. Two dermatopathologists are highly involved in the training of the residents. The Comparative Dermatology Laboratory is staffed with two senior bioscientists and is equipped to provide research support for the resident training.
