Employment Information
Salary: $37,500 annually
Opportunity to earn additional cash compensation: not applicable
Benefits: $500.00 state license/CE stipend, $250 towards DEA license by reimbursement and upon completion of a controlled drug training module, uniform allowance, 10 days paid time off, including sick days; professional liability insurance (PLIT) including license defense protection (AVMA membership required), VIN membership; and BluePearl health, dental and vision insurance plans. New York City and State VMA/VMS membership is provided.
Vacation: 80 hours PTO (accrued 3.08 hours/biweekly)

Is a non-compete clause required? Yes If yes, what is the time and distance? Graduates of our program are welcome (encouraged) to remain in our community in any general/family practice, or in an approved residency. Restrictions following the internship apply to employment at another referral or emergency hospital within the boroughs where we operate (boroughs of Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens) for a period of 1 year after program completion.
